From gPg member Eliza Hudson and lead Environmental Educator at GMS:
Expect a more relaxed, easy-going workday. Eliza will give a brief history of the gardens and their Permaculture roots to orient you to the space. Come ready to:
(1) Get dirty! clear the back woods of junk we’ve accumulated over the years and salvage what’s possible to save – think busted cold frames and broken PVC pipes everywhere – Much of this work is essential to keeping up appearances at the school and, isn’t always appropriate to have students or parents doing!
(2) Help start seeds! for the spring and summer seasons… Eliza will explain which varieties we choose for children and why they are hits every year!
