Celebration of Life for Pat Bush

September 23, 3:00-5:00 PM, with a potluck to follow

Gate City Harvest Farm

This Fall will be the third anniversary of the passing of our beloved Pat Bush. For those that don’t know her, she was a farmer, herbalist, cook, friend, mother, artist, sewer, seed saver, bee-keeper, vision quester, and much more. She is very beloved to many of us. The pandemic slowed down our ability to collectively celebrate her, but a small group of us came together to plan a gathering where we can marvel at the wonder that she was. All are welcome and we hope to see you there.

Potluck Item: Bring food to share!

Pictures: Our bee and technology wizard Amy Moyle will be making a slideshow. Please email pictures of Pat to: amymoyle@gmail.com

Plant/ Seed Swap: Pat was a propagator of life. If you have seeds or plants from her collection or just seeds and plants you would like to share please bring them for the plant/ seed swap.

Altar/ Welcome Table: Bring an item to put on an “altar” to Pat. Tinctures, herbs, seeds, sewed garments, pictures, anything you have that connects you to Pat. (You can take it with you when you leave.)

Stories: Bring memories of Pat to share with the group and/ or stories and blessings to write on prayer flags that we’ll hang in her honor at the Public Orchard.
